About the Role
NexRevo Global is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer (HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting) for a high-profile construction and infrastructure project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This is a unique opportunity to join a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering a complex airport and mixed-use infrastructure project in one of the world’s most dynamic construction environments. We are looking for a highly capable mechanical engineering professional with strong site execution and coordination expertise who can contribute effectively across multiple disciplines.
The role is structured to support candidates from mechanical and MEP engineering backgrounds, ensuring seamless coordination between design intent and site execution. This is a full-time, on-site position offering broad exposure across the project lifecycle while maintaining a strong focus on technical excellence, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and authorities to support the successful delivery of the project. Responsibilities will include:
- Supervising HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority requirements
- Reviewing and approving shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs)
- Conducting site inspections, monitoring daily construction progress, and reporting technical issues or deviations
- Coordinating with MEP teams, BIM coordinators, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and execution challenges
- Managing quality control activities, including issuing and closing NCRs and verifying corrective actions
- Supporting snagging, testing, commissioning, and authority inspections
- Reviewing and approving as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation
- Ensuring compliance with HSE plans, safety regulations, and site safety practices
- Supporting BIM-based coordination, clash detection, and use of digital and AI-enabled project tools
- Contributing across the full project lifecycle from execution through commissioning and handover

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8–10 years of relevant site experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Prior experience on UAE projects is required
Technical Skills
- Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements (DM, DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense)
- Familiarity with international standards such as NFPA and ASHRAE
- Proficiency in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MEP coordination tools
- Experience with BIM-based coordination, digital reporting, and site management tools
