About the Role
NexRevo Global is seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Project Engineer / Site Inspector for a high-profile construction and infrastructure project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering a complex airport and mixed-use infrastructure project in one of the world’s most dynamic construction environments. The position is ideal for a technically strong professional with hands-on site experience who can ensure quality, compliance, and coordination across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
The role is structured to support professionals from electrical or mechanical backgrounds, providing exposure across the full project lifecycle—from site execution and inspections to coordination with consultants, contractors, and authorities. This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong focus on quality assurance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the project delivery team, you will work closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to support successful execution of site activities. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting site inspections for electrical and mechanical works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Verifying adherence to UAE Building Codes and applicable international aviation and infrastructure standards, including IATA / ICAO guidelines
- Reviewing contractor QA/QC submittals, method statements, inspection test plans, and material approvals
- Recording, reporting, and following up on non-conformities, defects, and unsafe practices
- Monitoring quality, workmanship, and installation standards; witnessing tests and commissioning activities as required
- Maintaining daily site logs, inspection reports, photographic records, and QA/QC documentation
- Supporting site safety compliance, manpower monitoring, and construction progress tracking
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineers, inspectors, consultants, and contractors to resolve site issues
- Liaising with relevant authorities for inspections, approvals, and compliance requirements
- Utilizing AI-enabled and digital inspection tools to enhance reporting accuracy, traceability, and efficiency

This role is well suited for professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Electrical or Mechanical Site Inspection
On-site inspection of MEP works with a focus on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance - MEP Systems Execution & Supervision
Installation and coordination of HVAC, electrical power, lighting, plumbing, and related systems - Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)
Strong exposure to inspection processes, documentation, testing, and compliance monitoring - Digital & AI-Enabled Site Reporting
Experience using digital platforms, QA/QC tools, or AI-assisted inspection and reporting systems

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma (3 years) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant site inspection experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
- Prior experience on UAE projects is highly desirable (airport or major infrastructure projects preferred)
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and site installation practices
- Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and approval processes, including DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense, and GCAA
- Working knowledge of international standards such as IATA / ICAO, NFPA, BS, and ASHRAE
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and digital QA/QC or inspection tools
- Ability to review drawings, specifications, and contractor submissions effectively
